Cortel Group’s Year In Review
As 2024 draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to celebrate a great year for Cortel Group. Here are some of the highlights.
First Residents Move Into CG Tower
At the end of May, we celebrated the roof-topping at CG Tower, our iconic high-rise at the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC). With exterior construction now complete, the first residents have officially moved in, and we’re proud to welcome them.
The roof-topping also marked the grand opening of Edgely Pond & Park, the first public green space in the VMC. It features a skating loop, splash pads, and playgrounds. The park is one of several public green spaces that are central to our vision for more sustainable, vibrant communities.
New Milestones at Abeja District
This year we also hosted the much-anticipated roof-topping celebration for Block One of Abeja District, our Mediterranean-inspired community at Jane and Rutherford. With its blend of residential spaces, retail, and shared community features, Abeja District is set to become a new cultural hub in the heart of Vaughan.
Residents of Block One are set to move in next year, and we’re very excited to see this community come alive.
Our 2025 Preview
As we look to 2025, Cortel Group has several exciting projects underway across the GTA. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s on the horizon:
- Abeja Block Two: Expanding on the success of Block One, the next phase of Abeja District promises new thoughtfully designed living spaces and amenities.
- Rose Garden: A new high-rise community near Highway 7 and Keele St., at the site of the proposed Concord GO station.
- Riverside Place: Located by the ravines of historic Woodbridge, this boutique residence blends natural appeal and modern design.
- The Orbit: A revolutionary smart city project in Innisfil that integrates technology and sustainable urban design.
- Toria Commons: A stylish new mixed-use community near the Whitby waterfront.
- Forum: A mixed-use development near the VMC designed to bring people together through commerce, culture, and community.
- Atelier Park: A celebration of artistry and craftsmanship, featuring residences and amenities that redefine urban luxury.
